Who we are

Ben OuYang

Ben OuYang has fifteen years of experience as a Youth Group leader, and twelve years of experience as a Married Couple Group coordinator,   He serves in prison ministry, at a food pantry, as an active Knight of Columbus, an active member in his local parish men’s group, and assisting as an extraordinary Eucharistic minister. During Mass, he serves as an acolyte, and lectorer. Ben has been on several short-term mission trips and has visited several missionaries domestically and abroad.  In addition, he has interviewed over 80 missionaries in his previous role as the podcast host and coordinator of the Go Forth… missionary podcast program.  He has also spoken at several parishes and conferences regarding the status of missionary work. 

Ben OuYang was born and raised in Upstate New York.  He was a public educator for thirty-two years holding various roles as a school counselor, assistant principal, principal, and director.  He has been married to his wife Jia-Shieu for thirty years and has one daughter and two teenage sons.  His daughter is a nun with the Servants of the Lord and the Virgin Matara and his two sons are eating him and his wife out of house and home.  

Krys Psurek

Krys grew up as Catholic in Poland and since high school has been a member of the Light-Life Movement. After getting married with his wife Tatiana, they are part of the family branch of the movement called Domestic Church. After moving to the US they continued leading Domestic Church circles. Currently, they lead two circles at their nearby parish.

Krys is an OCIA coordinator and serves also as a Lecturer, Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion (including bringing it to the sick), and participates in his parish’s Men’s Fellowship.

In 2024 Krys graduated from Encounter School of Ministry, DC Campus, and joined the leadership team teaching and playing in the Worship band.
